Role Overview:
As a Full Time Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards met and customer orders are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grading potatoes for quality;
- Packing and manual handling (e.g. filling crates/ boxes/bags, weighing, sealing, sleeving packs, using machinery/equipment);
- Preparing potato products (e.g. removing peel);
- Cleaning, maintaining a tidy and hygienic work area and company premises;
- Working safely and maintaining a safe work area;
- Following food safety and health and safety policies and practices;
- Working efficiently and in support of production targets and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to be a team player and also use own initiative
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to understand and communicate in English
- Have a right to work in the UK
