Freight Forwarder
Location: Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

A well-established logistics and freight company based in Newtownabbey is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import and export shipments across various modes of transport (road, air, sea).
- Liaise with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth delivery and timely updates.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and invoices.
- Provide quotations and negotiate rates with suppliers and customers.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
