Freight Forwarder
Location: Belfast (NI), UK
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
A leading multi-modal freight forwarding and logistics company in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its expanding operations team.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage shipments across multiple transport modes (road, sea, air, and rail)
- Arrange bookings with carriers and third-party logistics providers
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and solutions to any issues
- Monitor shipments, ensuring timely delivery and handling any delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role (multi-modal experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of transport documentation and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
- IT proficiency, including use of freight management systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer service excellence
