What You’ll Do
As a Financial Operations Analyst, you’ll support the smooth financial operation of the utilities market by managing settlement processes, verifying data, and publishing financial reports. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and validating settlement documents and market reports
- Conducting daily and weekly cashflow and credit risk checks
- Working with internal systems to monitor and process financial data
- Publishing timely financial reports and market communications
- Handling stakeholder queries and escalating issues where needed
- Supporting process improvements, system testing, and documentation updates
- Ensuring compliance with financial codes and operational deadlines
About You
You’ll thrive in a deadline-driven environment and enjoy working with financial data, systems, and collaborative teams. You will have:
Essential:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a finance admin or transactional finance role
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Excel skills and comfort using multiple systems
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ post-graduate experience in a financial role
- Experience in a regulated or process-heavy environment
