A leading manufacturing business, with operations across the UK and Ireland, is seeking a new Financial Controller to join its growing team.

Working closely with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders, this role offers the opportunity to combine commercial insight with financial leadership, influencing both strategy and control across the company.

This is an excellent step up for an ambitious finance professional ready to take on full Financial Controller responsibilities within a successful and expanding SME.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across all entities and divisions

• Delivery of weekly/monthly reports

• Driving costing and margin improvement initiatives

• Partnering with Operations and Sales on commercial decision-making

• Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Managing working capital, including debtor control and inventory valuation

• Overseeing month-end and year-end processes, liaising with auditors

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach

• Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing people and processes

• Advanced Excel skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions
