Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Coleraine. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in a growing and rewarding business environment.
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll report directly to the Financial Controller and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the finance function, with opportunities for personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the Group.
- Prepare and maintain key schedules including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany accounts.
- Support the preparation of year-end statutory accounts, audits, VAT, and corporation tax returns.
- Manage and reconcile all balance sheet movements and oversee ledger maintenance.
- Provide guidance and support across finance teams, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Invoicing, and Payroll.
About You
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAGE is a plus.
