The Role:
* Proactively manage purchase ledgers, addressing issues with insurers and staff
* Ensure timely settlement of purchase invoices in line with payment deadlines
* Maintain accurate audit trails of all postings and transactions
* Make and record payments in compliance with FCA regulations
* Manage company procedures, including staff expenses and company credit cards
* Identify and escalate anomalies in accounts with attention to detail
* Reconcile bank and supplier accounts accurately and on schedule
* Build effective working relationships with colleagues, Client Directors, and Account Executives
* Maintain accurate and timely client records in bespoke systems
* Support the achievement of team and business objectives through excellent client service
* Keep up to date with relevant regulatory requirements and best practice through ongoing CPD
* Exhibit the highest standards of professional behaviour in a regulated environment
The Person:
* Strong administrative, organisational, and numerical skills
* Previous experience working in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a regulated environment
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
* Effective communicator with colleagues at all levels
* Commercial awareness with a proactive and solution-focused approach
* Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
* Competent user of finance systems and Microsoft Office
