Field Support Engineer

Do you enjoy providing outstanding customer service and working with people? Are you passionate about technology and IT? Our client who are a major UK charity are looking for an experienced Field Support Engineer, you will now have the chance to play your part in the vital work they do. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, advising, analysing and fixing first- and second-line technical issues. There would be remote support and on-site visits.
Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for first- and second-line technical support
- Troubleshooting, analysing and solving problems for all technology related infrastructure, telephony, architecture, software, printing
- Managing regional IT mobilisation projects from start to end
- Maintaining and updating the asset management database
- Build relationships with key staff in your region
- Work closely with key stakeholders across a number of departments
Skills:
- Experience of working in an IT problem solving environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of ticketing systems and asset management
- Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Intune
- Experience of remote assistance tools
- Excellent listening skills and offer calm and positive support
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to staff with non-technical understanding
- Hardware or software installation
