Job Title: Field Service Garage Equipment Engineer (Breakdowns)
Location: Field Based in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum plus possible optional overtime

About The Role:
As a home-based Field Service Engineer working in Belfast and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for repairing a wide range of electro-mechanical garage equipment at customers’ sites together with some servicing and routine maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostics/repair on a wide range of garage equipment products including vehicle lifts, wheel & tyre, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers etc
- Maintenance and service work as required
- Completion and submission of accurate paperwork, adhering to health and safety regulations and complying with our quality system
- Ensuring control of your van stock to meet ‘first time fix’ targets
- Satisfying customer needs and exceeding their expectations
- The continued development of skills to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
- Prepared for occasional overnight stays away from home (if required)
- Prepared to work overtime when required (which is paid)
About you:
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Good level of education and training, ideally with relevant trade qualifications in garage equipment repair / servicing or a related discipline
- Or; experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment with transferable skills
- Working knowledge and experience of activities in a field service environment
- Able to understand and follow procedures and work instructions, working to specified standards.
- Self-motivated and customer focussed with a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards problems
- Full UK driving licence is essential – ideally ‘clean’
