Family Support Practitioner Location: Northern Trust Area Larne or Antrim Hub Salary: £12.79 p/h Contract Type: Temporary – on going About the Role Total Care Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Support Practitioner to join the outreach team supporting Family Support Hubs (FS Hubs) led by our client across the Northern Area. This is a unique opportunity to support early intervention services for children and young people (017 years) by helping families access the support they need. The role will primarily support the Antrim/Larne hub, with flexibility to assist other areas when needed. Key Responsibilities Conduct telephone assessments with families referred to the FS Hub. Liaise with referrers to gather essential information to inform decision-making. Present assessments at monthly Hub meetings and follow up with service referrals. Record information in childrens casefiles and the Hub database. Collaborate with a multi-agency group to ensure families receive timely, appropriate support. ?? Please note: This role does not involve direct face-to-face work with children or families. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: A Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 or above, or equivalent/related health, counselling or social care qualification. Experience working with children and families in a support capacity. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and excellent report writing skills. Excellent communication and IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Registration with NISCC, or willingness to register.
