The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join its busy team. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of family law matters, working closely with clients to provide practical, empathetic, and results-focused legal advice.
This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexibility to suit individual circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and child-related cases
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements
- Providing clear, compassionate, and pragmatic advice to clients
- Representing clients in negotiations and, where required, at court hearings
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland
- Proven experience in family law (minimum 1 year PQE desirable, though all levels considered)
- Strong technical knowledge of family law procedures and processes
- Excellent communication and client care skills with an empathetic approach
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and effectively
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
