We have a brand-new opportunity available for a multi-site Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join the company, assisting with the running of all facilities and maintenance responsibilities across our Paris Head Office as well as points of sales in France and Benelux. The role will take responsibility for reporting directly to both Property & Services and Health & Safety departments, ensuring all Facilities and Maintenance responsibilities and compliance are met at all times.

Please note, this role is based in our Paris Head Office.

The Role
Carry out regular site inspections to identify any necessary maintenance requirements and ensure all planned maintenance works and mandatory requirements are arranged and completed.
Establish and maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule of equipment and facilities including MEP, HVAC, security systems and life safety equipment, lifts etc.
To ensure all reactive works are resolved as swiftly and efficiently as possible and that the helpdesk reporting system is used, managed, and updated at all times.
Coordinate all soft service facilities across all sites including cleaning, hygiene services, waste management, pest control, gardening.
Order supplies and materials for the relevant locations and arrange office moves or layout changes when required.
To carry out health and safety checks within the Paris Showrooms to include, but not limited to, emergency lighting, fire doors (internal and exit) visual inspection of fire-fighting equipment, first aid boxes, and steamers.
To oversee health and safety standards and controls in the building on a day-to-day basis and oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
To organise and oversee remedial works and/or non-compliances identified during workplace health and safety inspections.
To formally monitor health and safety risk assessments for the Paris Showroom and carry out health and safety inductions for new starters to the company.
Manage the day-to-day reception function including supervision of team members and their responsibilities. Recruit when necessary.
Manage logistics and deliveries into and out of the head office location. Liaise with UK distribution department to ensure that all necessary international requirements are met.
Liaise with local VM team to assist with any seasonal showroom changes. Obtain quotes and supervise any works required.
Act as point of contact for UK based IT networks services team. Under instruction assist with any on site requirements.

Your Skills and Experience
Fluent in French & English, frequent communication with UK Head Offices will be required.
A Facilities Management qualification would be desirable or equivalent practical attainment.
Experience within a similar role, dealing with hard and soft services.
Previous managerial experience/experience supervising others.
Confident using Word, Excel, CMMS and Helpdesk packages.
Awareness of operational requirements and the impact on the wider business.
