Job Title: Experienced Roofer – Traditional & Industrial Metal Roofing

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Roofer with hands-on experience in both traditional roofing methods (such as slate, tile, and lead work) and industrial metal roofing and cladding systems. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at height, able to follow technical instructions, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain traditional pitched roofs (e.g. slate, tile, and lead work)

• Install and maintain industrial metal roofing and cladding systems (e.g. standing seam, composite panels, built-up systems)

• Work from drawings, plans, and technical specifications

• Adhere to UK health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements

• Cooperate with site teams, supervisors, and other trades on-site

• Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in both traditional roofing and industrial metal roofing/cladding

• Ability to work confidently at height and in various weather conditions

• Familiarity with standard roofing tools and safety procedures

• Willingness to adapt to UK building codes and site practices

• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
