Executive Assistant
A leading and established organisation based in Banbridge, are currently seeking an experience Executive Assistant to join their team.
This is a Full-time, temporary position for initially 6 weeks.
Working hours: Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 5:00pm & Fri 8:30am – 3:00pm (35.5 hrs pw)
Salary: negotiable dependant on experience
Job role:
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high level administrative and strategic support to the Managing Director ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day operations. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Criteria:
- 3rd Level Business related qualification (or equivalent
- A Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role supporting senior executives.
- Proven experience in complex diary management and high level administrative support
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive thinking
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions when required
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with senior stakeholders confidently
- Adaptable and quick to learn new technologies and business processes
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Managing Director
- Diary Management – scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare high-level reports, presentations, and briefing documents for meetings.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, track actions, and follow up on deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between senior management, department heads, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee confidential correspondence, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Coordinate and manage strategic projects, supporting business objectives.
- Conduct research, analyse data, and provide insights to support decision-making. Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency. Travel to UK will be required occasionally
