A leading boutique law firm based in central Belfast is seeking to appoint a talented Employment Solicitor with 24 years post-qualification experience. The Role

The appointed solicitor will work on a diverse employment caseload involving:

• Representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing

• Advising on employment contracts, service agreements, workplace policies, and disciplinary/grievance procedures

• TUPE advice and handling business transfers, particularly in the context of unionised workforces

• Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements

• Providing legal guidance to trade unions on regulatory, constitutional, and employment matters

The Person

This opportunity would suit a solicitor who is:

• 24 years PQE with demonstrable experience in employment law

• Experienced in tribunal advocacy and case preparation

• Confident in advising both individual and commercial clients

• Comfortable working closely with trade unions and employee groups (desirable)

• Commercially minded with strong drafting and advisory skills

• Collaborative, pragmatic, and client-focused
