We currently have an opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our maintenance department.
These positions offer variety and a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Commissioning, maintaining, fault-diagnosing and modification of automated assembly and production equipment
- Providing support to plant facilities and systems
- Working as part of a multi-skilled team in a high tech environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to ONC in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year’s practical experience within a manufacturing environment
- Thorough understanding of electrical circuitry
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to maintain electrical equipment and machinery
- Demonstrate an aptitude for fault finding and problem solving on production type equipment
- Computer literate
- Ability to take general directions but work with minimal supervision.
- Good team working and communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Educated to HNC standard in relevant discipline or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year’s relevant practical experience of fault finding to component level on analogue and digital systems.
- Working knowledge of PLCs
- Working knowledge of 16th – 18th Edition
- Mechanical aptitude
