We currently have an opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our maintenance department. This position offers variety and a broad range of responsibilities including: Commissioning, maintaining, fault-diagnosing and modification of automated assembly and production equipment Providing support to plant facilities and systems Working as part of a multi-skilled team in a high tech environment. Essential Criteria: Educated to ONC in a relevant discipline or equivalent A minimum of 1 years practical experience within a manufacturing environment Thorough understanding of electrical circuitry Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Ability to maintain electrical equipment and machinery Demonstrate an aptitude for fault finding and problem solving on production type equipment Computer literate Ability to take general directions but work with minimal supervision. Good team working and communication skills Desirable Criteria: Educated to HNC standard in relevant discipline or equivalent A minimum of 1 years relevant practical experience of fault finding to component level on analogue and digital systems. Working knowledge of PLCs Working knowledge of 16th 18th Edition Mechanical aptitude The successful applicant will be required to adopt flexible working practices, work shifts and provide overtime and holiday cover.
