Electrical Sales Engineer
Our client, a leading Electrical Engineering company based in Armagh is in search of a Electrical Sales Engineerto join their growing team
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Companys business development and sales strategy.
- Search, identify, profile, analyse and implement new business opportunities in ROI & GB (and NI as required) in the short term and in longer term worldwide. (This will require extensive travel throughout Northern Ireland, ROI, GB and further afield when required and to work flexible hours if required, to ensure business needs are met)
- Establish robust working relationships with key people in target markets, aspire to develop lasting business relationships whilst simultaneously building brand awareness for the company.
- Liaising with customers, understand their needs and manage expectations. Provide them with regular updates as required. This includes dealing with any problems customers may encounter, I.e. scheduling, component delays, substitution etc.
- Interpret and understand the requirements of the specification and electrical design to compute accurate budget costs. To include materials, labour requirements and travel as appropriate.
- Develop, update and maintain the companys database of existing and potential customers.
- Provide regular information to assist management with decision making, including competitor profiles and market analysis.
- Regular contact with new and existing customers, to ensure that they continue to be satisfied with the company’s products/projects.
- Assist with after sales queries and technical issues, investigate customer complaints and ensure they are dealt with to customers satisfaction.
- Liaise closely with the Directors, Design, Workshop and Site teamsto ensure effective communication of information relative to work in progress and job scheduling.
The Successful Candidate will:
- Have good technical knowledge on Electrical Engineering
- Experience dealing with customers
