Job Summary

The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s Engineering team. You will work within multi-disciplined teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customization of existing products. This role offers the opportunity to support projects from conception to completion, ensuring excellence in electrical design and functionality. This is a great opportunity to join a leading design and manufacture in the aerospace industry for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with 3rd party vendors to support project delivery.
Assist in prototyping, considering cost, safety, and time constraints.
Create and maintain documentation, including Test Plans and Reports for electrical testing.
Support customer meetings and provide electrical expertise throughout project lifecycles.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve build and test issues.
Participate in change management, including design reviews and impact analysis.

What We’re Looking For

A relevant Degree/Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 2+ years of experience in an engineering environment.
Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia) is desirable.
Knowledge of 3D harness or pipe routing (advantageous).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
A proactive, results-driven attitude with the flexibility to work additional hours when required.
