OBJECTIVE OF THE HOME:
OurobjectiveinTowellHouseResidentialHomeistoestablishaholisticapproach,providing person centred care to residents of the highest possible standard.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thepostholderwillbeexpectedtoworkwithintegrity,honesty,openness,accountability and respect. Be aware of issues relating to information and clinical governance, Human rights, health and safety and welfare of residents and colleagues.
Thepostholderwillassistwithorientationandintroductionofnewstaffmemberstothe home, promoting and taking part in a culture of continuous service improvement.
Communicateeffectivelyandmaintainproductiveworkingrelationshipswiththeteamand each other.
The Domestic Assistant is responsible for the cleanliness of the home and for the safe storage of all equipment and cleaning materials
MAIN DUTIES:
- Followdirectionsofthehousekeeper.
- Ensuringthatallliquids,cleaningmaterialsandsolventsarelockedawayatalltimes unless in use.
- Undertakinggeneralcleaningofallareas.
- Observingthecorrectuseandcareofequipment.
- ReportinganybreakdownsordefectsinmachineryormaterialstotheHouse Keeper/Maintenance Team.
- Knowing,understandingandimplementingthehomespoliciesandprocedures
- StrictadherencetoC.O.S.H.Hpolicy
- Toreportanyaccidents/incidentsimmediatelytothePersoninCharge.
- AdherencetoUniformPolicyatalltimes.
- Attendingandparticipatinginin-house/onlinetrainingforself-development.
- AssistinginotherareasasrequiredbyManagement.
- To attend and participate in all staff meetings
Essential:
- CandidatemustberesidentintheUKwiththerighttowork.
- ExcellentLiteracyandnumeracyskills
