We’re recruiting for a position in our Belfast office. We have a very flexible approach to working from home or remotely. We welcome applicants looking for any form of working structure – be that anything from fulltime employment to part-time or otherwise. We’re incredibly supportive of parents or those returning from a career break who prefer to work hours to suit their lifestyle and personal or family needs.
At WP3 we provide client and quality focused building services advice, solutions and engineering. We take a holistic approach, able to service projects from a feasibility & concept phase right through to delivery, completion and post-occupancy support.
Being a young company with a fresh and distinctly different approach, you can get in at the ‘ground floor’ to both witness and benefit from our rapid growth. We’ve an abundance of interesting and diverse projects on the horizon, having recently worked on projects as diverse as underwater film studios to new airport terminals to large-scale decarbonisation.
Our ideal candidate will have experience as a document controller but this is not a strict pre-requisite for applying.
We’re looking for a document controller to join our team to work closely with our design engineers and commissioning managers to help in the successful and high-quality delivery of our projects across all sectors and regions. The role will incorporate taking responsibility for the information management on these projects, working within our own internal system and across a number of platforms (i.e. Viewpoint, ASite, Aconex, etc.) to align with our various clients.
The breadth of services provided by WP3 will require our ideal candidate to have an understanding of, or be able to demonstrate competency with:
- Quality management and quality assurance processes
- Working within a variety of document management systems
- Working within the construction industry for consultants, main contractors or sub-contractors
- Building Information Management processes
- High level of competency with the full MS Office suite of software
- Reporting and professional presentation of information
- Task management, prioritisation and time management
- Written, online and in-person communication with colleagues and clients
We work almost exclusively within an online environment and as such IT literacy is a must. Demonstrating attention-to-detail in daily tasks is also fundamental to the role.
If you don’t feel you have enough experience in any of those areas, don’t let that stop you from applying! We will offer extensive training and will give you every possible chance to gain experience in all aspects of engineering and construction work.
Uniquely, this role will offer you the opportunity to experience other aspects of the business should you wish, with the ability to assist with business development, marketing, business administration etc. if of interest. We will help you expand your skill set and grow within WP3 and the industry.
