Scribe is an online retailer of cycling products. We hand-build everything at our operations centre in Belfast, and we continue to develop the fastest cycling products in the World: proven in the Wind-Tunnel and independent testing. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to help us in our pursuit to be a leading force in our space.

Overview:

Youll work closely with the wider team to support the delivery of marketing campaigns, digital content, and brand activity gaining experience across all aspects of marketing in the industries we provide for. You will be responsible for managing our website & social media platforms, creating engaging content, and executing strategies that enhance our brand visibility and connection with our audience.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, website visitors, and maintain brand consistency across all advertising platforms. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Belfast.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a professional, market-leading user experience on the website, and use data to continually analyse and improve the web experience.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive digital marketing plans to achieve business objectives, including increasing brand visibility, attracting new customers, and retaining existing ones.
  • Continue the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy, company wide, that aligns with business goals.
  • Digital Marketing Management: Oversee digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Monitor performance metrics and optimise campaigns to maximize ROI and engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting – Analyse paid ads, Google Analytics as well as AdWords to assess the performance of posts and campaigns.
  • Content Creation and Branding: Develop compelling content across various platforms to showcase offerings and values. Ensure brand consistency and integrity in all marketing materials and communications.
  • Excellent Written Skills – creating blogs (with respective Brand managers), press releases, social posts, briefs internal and external & events etc.
  • Social Media Management – Schedule posts, monitor engagement, manage interactions across all social channels. Actively engage with social media followers.
  • Trend Monitoring – stay updated on market trends, customer behaviours and competitor activities to make data-driven decisions. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Ensure channels are kept up to date with correct information, prices and promotions. Manager website information, up-to-date website banners, branding & vehicle images.

The Person:

  • A degree or third level qualification in a relevant field such as: Web development, Digital marketing, Computer science, Communications or a related discipline
  • Experience in creating and managing Google Ads or Meta Ad campaigns.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva, social media and Google Analytics).
  • Experience using video or photo editing software (e.g. Adobe Suite, CapCut or iMovie).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to identify and act on market trends.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
  • High level of IT literacy advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Commercially experienced in digital and eCommerce, but excited to develop further on the technical side
  • Hands on with website platforms such as Shopify or similar, with HTML/CSS editing skills
  • Confident using Google Analytics and other performance tools
  • Enthusiastic about solving problems
  • Proactive, detail oriented and customer focused

The Package:

  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 (we will pay more for the right experience)
