Diesel Mechanic (6 Positions Available) Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Location: Coleraine, Northern Ireland Salary: £16.00 £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) + Overtime Rates About the Role We are recruiting six experienced Diesel Mechanics for a well-established client based in Northern Ireland. This is a temp-to-permopportunity offering competitive hourly rates and excellent potential for long-term employment. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repair of a variety of HGVs and commercial vehicles within a busy workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine servicing and mechanical repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Perform strip downs, diagnostics, and full rebuilds where required Accurately complete service sheets, job cards, and related documentation Communicate technical information clearly to customers when necessary Assist with roadside breakdowns as and when required Criteria for the Role Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles in a workshop setting is essential A relevant qualification such as an NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is highly desirable Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication skills and a professional, tidy approach Must be fluent in English Hours of Work Monday to Friday: 8:30am 5:00pm Optional work on Saturdays Saturday overtime available (at enhanced rates) To Apply If you meet the above criteria and are ready for your next opportunity, please apply now with an up-to-date CV.
