About youStrong passion for food with an interest in consumer & market trends.A background in Food Manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.Experience in a similar role, with product development, translation of product briefs and working to product budget and understanding quality product outcomes.The ability to assess data and translate into concepts and products.As the Development Chef, you will need to possess Excel/MS Tools proficiency.What will you be doing?Youll be customer facing with some of the biggest retailers/businesses. Lead and work at pace to translate product briefs into viable products taking into consideration ingredient quality, ingredient cost and production constraints.Initiate EPD/NPD, work with the NPD team to transform food concepts into viable products and continually challenge current product quality and viability.The Development Chef will follow the NPD stage gate process by working closely with the wider NPD team.Oversee initial product costs and create/dispatch product samples to customers with all relevant documentation for ease of use when it reaches customer.
