Design Engineer Co. Down
Were working with a well-established manufacturing company in Co. Down that designs specialist products with real-world impact. Theyre growing their design team and looking for a hands-on Design Engineer whos confident taking projects from concept through to production.
This is a full lifecycle design role youll be using SolidWorks to develop new products, working closely with suppliers, production, and wider teams to bring ideas to life.
What youll be doing:
- Designing components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Creating prototypes, testing products, and managing documentation
- Working with suppliers and production teams to bring designs to manufacture
- Contributing to design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA), and regulatory checks
What theyre looking for:
- 3+ years in a product design or an engineering role
- Strong SolidWorks skills
- Understanding of plastic injection moulding and/or light metal fabrication
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage your own workload
