Overview

Expleo has an opportunity for an experienced aerospace structures design engineer to support a local OEM customer on a development project, on a Hybrid basis at their Belfast premises. The role will involve being responsible for formulating technical solutions for a range of tasks ensuring that design standards and customer requirements are met within your design.

Responsibilities

• Development of Catia V5 structural design detailing
• Support to DMMs & ongoing IPDT meetings held via Teams calls
• Storage of files in Windchill database
• Implement technical solutions to ensure they are compliant with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.
• Perform all activities at a level of minimal supervision and guide other engineers within the work-package as required.

Essential skills

• Experience with working with stakeholders, lead engineers, chief engineers and project managers.
  • CAD Catia V5 R29
  • MS Office
• Good Communication
• Knowledge of aerospace structural design standards and processes.
• Experience in creating and delivering detail drawings

Experience

• Previous Windchill experience would be beneficial
