Database & Systems Support Analyst
Location: UK-based only (hybrid or on-site)
Eligibility: UK work authorisation required (no sponsorship available)
We’re looking for a DBA to join a growing business systems team, with the chance to get stuck into wider system design and support for MES/ERP platforms. You’ll take ownership of multiple application databases-making sure they run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You’ll also provide 2nd Line Support for business-critical systems and help drive system improvements through structured change processes.

What you’ll be doing:
* Keeping SQL Server databases fast, secure, and reliable
* Writing stored procedures and supporting system integrations
* Handling database issues and SSRS report queries
* Providing 2nd Line Support for ERP applications
* Working with users to improve systems and data quality
* Following change control processes to avoid disruption
What you’ll bring:
* 3rd level qualification in IT or similar
* Solid experience as a DBA
* Strong SQL skills – backup, recovery, optimisation, replication
* Experience with performance tuning and stored procedures
* Confident working independently and under pressure
* Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams
Nice to have:
* SSRS experience and advanced SQL reporting
* Knowledge of APIs
* Microsoft certifications (SQL Server, Azure, etc.)
* Experience in manufacturing or ERP environments
