Bela Recruitment is delighted to be hiring a Database & System Support Analyst for one of the most advanced manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland. This is a permanent job, offering hybrid working and a chance to work on mission-critical systems across a dynamic food manufacturing business, which has invested tens of millions into systems.
The Job
As part of the Business Systems team, youll take ownership of key databases and provide Design & Support for MES/ERP systems. Youll ensure performance, integrity, and security across systems while also playing a key role in data integrations, reporting, and system improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimise SQL databases
Troubleshoot issues and support data integrity/security
Create stored procedures and complex reports (SSRS)
Provide 2nd line support for business systems (ERP/MES)
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders
Implement change requests and manage maintenance windows
Full job spec available on request.
About You
3+ years experience as a DBA
3rd level IT related qualification
Strong SQL knowledge (backups, replication, performance tuning & security)
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly
Calm and methodical under pressure
Desirable
Knowledge of SSRS, APIs, or MES systems
Microsoft SQL certifications or Azure experience
Background in manufacturing
