You will play a key role in managing import and export customs declarations, advising clients on compliance matters, and ensuring efficient cross-border movement of goods. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of UK and Irish customs procedures, is detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate import/export customs declarations

• Advise clients on classification, valuation, and origin of goods

• Ensure all customs paperwork complies fully with regulatory standards

• Liaise with HMRC, Irish Revenue, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth clearance

• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members

• Keep abreast of changes in customs legislation and trade regulations

Requirements:

• Experience doing customs clearances or international trade compliance

• Solid knowledge of UK and Irish customs processes, transit movements, and tariff codes

• Proficiency with customs software platforms

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
