This is your opportunity to join a leading shipping company who are seeking for a Customs Agent to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis
About you
- Previous experience in a customs clearance or freight forwarding environment
- Experience of using customs systems
- Proficient with MS Office
Duties
- Prepare and submit accurate import and export declarations
- Review shipping documentation, ensure they meet all regulatory requirements.
- Work with clients, freight forwarders, and hauliers
- Operate port community systems and customs software to process entries and updates.
- Ensure all customs data is correctly filed and archived for audit and compliance purposes.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and delays
- Other adhoc duties
