About the Role:
We are looking for a professional and motivated Customer Services Assistant to join our busy Customer Hub team on a temporary basis to support a peak in workload. The role involves providing excellent customer service across multiple channels, including telephone, email, web chat, and face-to-face interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries and requests, providing information, guidance, and support.
- Resolve customer issues at the first point of contact where possible, or escalate as required.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM and other IT systems.
- Assist customers with completing forms, applications, and digital processes.
- Manage and respond to complaints professionally and promptly.
- Provide support to key stakeholders through dedicated communication channels.
- Analyse customer feedback and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Process financial transactions accurately in line with organisational procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience providing professional customer service via multiple channels.
- Experience using standard IT systems and preferably CRM systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to signpost or resolve customer enquiries effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage workload efficiently.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) including English or equivalent, or passed a relevant business support/computer-based assessment.

- Some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Location: Belfast
Hours: 37 per week
Rate: PAYE £14.35/hr
