A well established and respected Belfast law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join its expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for a solicitor with 25 years PQE who enjoys managing varied and challenging corporate transactions, building strong client relationships, and working as part of a forward thinking legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other corporate documentation.
- Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and larger corporate entities.
- Conduct due diligence and manage transactional processes from inception to completion.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
Working Hours & Location
- Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday (flexible working arrangements available)
- Location: Belfast Office
Essential Experience & Skills
- Qualified Solicitor in with 25 years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law.
- Proven ability to manage transactions independently while providing clear, commercially sound advice.
- Strong technical knowledge in corporate law and related commercial matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
