A Cook is required for an immediate start at a Residential Care Home in Ballymena. This position offers a rate of pay of £12.58 per hour, increasing to £13.58 per hour on Sunday, and the working hours are 3 days per week with alternating weekends, 7am to 5pm. This is a permanent opportunity.

The main duties of the role include:

• Preparing meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
• To cook meals in large quantities while maintaining quality and taste.
• Following recipes tailored to specific resident needs (e.g., diabetic, low-sodium, pureed diets, allergies, religious preferences).
• Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

What we need from you

• Hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Knowledge of CoSHH requirements.
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering, Food Preparation, or a related field.
