To assist in the layout, assembly, and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring they are built to specification, quality standards, and production timelines.

Main Duties and responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels based on provided electrical drawings and layouts.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior staff to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to allocated timescales for individual and team tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress or issues effectively.
- Continuously develop knowledge of control panel building processes.
- Continuously improve the control panel building process by recommending suggestions for improvements.

Educational Attainments
Essential
Educated to GCSE Standard
Grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent
Work Experience
Essential
Demonstrated experience of working in a panel building workshop or
taking and following instructions
completing work to allocated timescales
Desirable
1 year panel building experience preferred
Knowledge
Desirable
Layout and assembling of control panels
Understand the process of optimising efficiency and identifying waste
Skills and Abilities
Essential
Can read and interpret electrical drawings
Willing to learn and picks things up quickly
