Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading Main Contractor in Mid Ulster who are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start.
This is a permanent position with a well-established main contractor. The initial project will run for 15 months, delivering a New Health care Facility, with further work available on successful completion.
The Role | Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading site operations on a new build development, ensuring project delivery aligns with programme, quality, health & safety, and budget expectations.
Duties include:
- Full site management and coordination of subcontractors and direct labour
- Delivering projects on time and to the highest standards
- Conducting and maintaining project documentation and reports
- Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations
- Managing site logistics, materials, and scheduling
- Liaising closely with engineers and design teams
- Motivating and leading site teams with clear direction and structure
- Whiteboard meetings and toolbox talks
What you need to succeed:
- Experience managing New Build projects from inception to completion
- Previous experience delivering healthcare & medical schemes
- Hold valid SMSTS and/or SSSTS certification
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes and building regulations
- Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and highly organised
- Strong leadership and communication skills
