Job Summary:
As a Compliance Officer within the Global Mobility team, you will work closely with the Global Mobility Manager and the HR team to ensure seamless business operations while maintaining strict adherence to legal, regulatory, and company compliance standards.
You will oversee and manage visa and immigration processes, ensuring all applications and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with local regulations. You will withhold responsibilities for maintaining compliance records, auditing internal processes, and implementing policies to uphold the organisation’s standards.
The Compliance Officer will manage end-to-end application processes, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and serve as a point of contact for employees regarding compliance inquiries. The role also includes preparing reports, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting additional HR and compliance-related tasks as needed in a professional, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Visa and Immigration Management:• Oversee and manage the visa application process, including preparation, submission, and tracking of visa applications.
- Ensure all visa and immigration documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding visa and immigration inquiries.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Maintain and update records to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Regularly audit internal processes to ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Completion of ID06 applications and Cards for Swedish Site Operatives.
End-to-End Application Management:
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end application processes related to compliance, including but not limited to work permits, visas, and other related documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient processing of applications.
- Monitor application timelines and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Company System Updates & Assigned Tasks:
- Ensure all information regarding global mobility compliance is entered accurately on BambooHR.
- Enter and ensure all information in accordance with proof is uploaded to the Global Mobility Section of the app.
- Responsible for the accuracy of information displayed in Global Mobility Dashboards.
- Manage the onboarding email whilst completing all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work alongside the Global Mobility Manager, European Tax Specialist and the HR team to support business operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Provide support in other HR and compliance-related tasks as needed.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate with employees, stakeholders, and external partners regarding compliance processes and requirements.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on compliance activities and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a compliance like role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
