We are working with a tier-one national firm who are looking for an Associate Solicitor to join their Commercial department within their Belfast office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Commercial team, advising the firm’s international and domestic client base on a broad range of commercial and technology-related matters. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and challenging commercial contracts within the jurisdiction. The candidate’s role will also involve supporting colleagues on issues including data protection, commercial contracts, AI, cyber security, and IP.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s client base.
Essential Criteria
- 1-5 PQE;
- Strong background in commercial law and technology within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
