We are working with a market-leading national firm based in Belfast who are looking for an Associate to join their Commercial and Technology team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and innovative team, engaging in a range of commercial and legal tech matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, AI, cyber security, and IP. The candidate will advise on matters across a range of sectors, including media, healthcare, R&D, manufacturing, and consumer goods.
The candidate will play a key role in advising a spectrum of high-profile clients on commercial transactions, specialising in negotiation and post-execution management. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
- 1-5PQE;
- Strong background in commercial contracts and legal tech highly advantageous;
- Demonstrable commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
