Commercial Estimator – LandscapingLocation: Ballyclare, BT39 0RASalary: £42,500 – £47,500 + Car AllowanceShift Pattern: Monday – Friday 9-5Contract: PermanentAbout the role: Our Client, a reputable company specialising in landscaping projects, is hiring for a Commercial Estimator to join their team in Ballyclare. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for soft landscaping to contribute to exciting projects and grow within a dynamic organisation.What you’ll be doing:* Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications for soft landscaping works* Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant, and subcontractors* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations* Conduct site visits to assess project scope and potential risks* Evaluate project commercial viability and identify cost-saving opportunities* Collaborate with the Commercial Director, Contracts Managers, and Design Teams* Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and stakeholders* Support the handover process of successful tenders to the delivery team* Maintain accurate records of tenders and prepare reports for senior managementWhat you’ll bring:* Proven experience in estimating landscaping projects, including commercial, public realm, or residential works* Basic understanding of horticulture, turfing, and soil preparation* Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Excel)* Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDesired qualifications:* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field* Full UK driving licence* Willingness to travel to North England occasionallyBenefits
