CNC Programmer Co. Down
Talent Curve is working with a well-established manufacturer based in Co. Down, known for producing high precision components for clients across a range of industries. Operating from a modern, well equipped facility, the company places strong emphasis on quality craftsmanship and long-term stability.
They are now seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. This role will involve programming and setting Fanuc-controlled lathes to produce complex components from steel and stainless steel, often large in size and to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
- Machine low-volume, high-specification parts with a focus on accuracy
- Inspect and verify finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvements
- Maintain records relating to program changes and machine settings
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC turning, with strong Fanuc programming knowledge
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
- Experience working with large components and machining stainless steel
- CADCAM experience is advantageous, but training will be provided if needed
- Milling experience is desirable but not essential
