As a Cleaning Operative, you will be an essential member of our team, responsible for executing a range of cleaning tasks to uphold our company’s reputation for excellence. You will work under minimal supervision while demonstrating efficiency and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in restrooms and kitchen areas, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of trash as per company procedures.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to your supervisor promptly.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe workspace.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lift equipment as needed.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
