Reed Hospitality are currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our team. All days available Mon to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals in line with residents’ dietary needs, including IDDSI levels (Many of whom require texture-modified diets)
- Plan menus that are nutritious, varied, and visually appealing
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with care staff to meet individual dietary requirements
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and manage stock levels
Essential Requirements:
- Experience as a chef or cook (care home or healthcare setting preferred)
- Understanding of or willingness to train in the IDDSI Framework (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or higher)
- Compassionate and team-oriented approach
- Experience preparing texture-modified meals for individuals with dysphagia
