About the Role

Total Care Recruitment are an approved provider for theHealth & Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI), and we are currently recruitingCatering Assistants to join the team at Craigavon Hospital

position is for 25 hours per week and the shift pattern will be 3pm 8pm Monday Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy healthcare setting, helping to provide essential catering support for patients, staff, and visitors.

• Band 2 Catering assistant in or dining room area (customer facing) 25HPW Monday-Friday with occasional weekends required.

Key Duties

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals to patients and staff.
• Ensure food is served safely and in line with hygiene standards.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Operate catering equipment as required.
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and infection control procedures at all times.

Essential Criteria

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with staff, patients, and the public.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous catering or kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to cover different shifts.
