Your key responsibilities will be:
Personal Care
- Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds or chairs
- Use of mobility aids when required
Health & Medication Support
- Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed
- Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
Emotional & Social Support
- Offer companionship and a listening ear
- Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones
- Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing
Domestic Assistance
- Help with light household tasks: cleaning, laundry, meal prep
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Communication & Documentation
- Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour
- Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and team members
Personal Advocacy
- Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care
- Ensure clients rights and dignity are upheld at all times
What Were Looking For
Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential full training is provided.
Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
