Care Assistants
Locations: Bangor, Newtownards, and Comber
Salary: Excellent hourly rate + mileage reimbursement

At AI Homecare, were looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes. If you’re someone who genuinely cares and wants to help others maintain their dignity and independence, wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
- Support with meals, hydration, and medication
- Light household duties (laundry, cleaning, meal prep)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and use of care equipment
- Record and report any changes in service users needs
- Support individuals in maintaining independence and making their own choices
- Escort clients to appointments or community activities
Shift Patterns:
- Day shifts: 7:00am 6:00pm
- Evening shifts: 6:00pm 10:30pm
- Includes on-call hours on a rota basis

Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and access to a car
- A caring, compassionate, and respectful nature
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative
- Willingness to complete an Access NI Enhanced Check
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including some weekends and on-call
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a care role (paid or unpaid)
- Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent)
- Awareness of safeguarding and how to recognise signs of abuse
- Understanding of health and safety in home care settings
- Flexible and adaptable to meet changing client needs
