Drainage Specials Coordinator Knockloughrim
I’m currently working with a well-established precast concrete manufacturer who is seeking a Drainage Specials Coordinator (CAD Technician) to join their busy Technical Department based at their Knockloughrim Precast Office.
Working Hours & Salary:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
- Salary: £25,000 £30,000, depending on experience
The Role:
You’ll play a key part in delivering bespoke precast concrete products from initial enquiry right through to delivery, supporting a wide range of civil engineering projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting customer drawings
- Producing material breakdowns and pricing bespoke products
- Processing and coordinating orders
- Managing project records and documentation
- Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Providing technical support and calling off products for delivery
- Prioritising multiple projects based on deadlines and customer needs
What Youll Need:
Essential:
- English & Maths (Grade C or above)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong time management and multitasking ability
- Self-starter with initiative and good communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure in a team-based environment
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to read technical/construction drawings
- Experience in civil engineering or precast concrete manufacturing
- Understanding of drainage products (e.g., manholes, pipes, cover slabs)
- Knowledge of British Standards & Eurocodes
- Full driving licence
