Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with an industry leading, manufacturing firm based in the Newtownabbey area on the appointment of a Buyer.

In your new role:
- Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager
- Ensure all materials are on site and on time to ensure the smooth day to day running of production
- Build long term relationship with key suppliers whilst continually monitoring performance
- Fully utilise the ERP system, maintaining supplier data, pricing and lead times etc
- Frequently liaise with internal teams to support production demands
- Work with a process improvement mindset continually looking for ways to reduce cost
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast-paced purchasing department within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems as well as all Microsoft Office packages
- Proven track record of success with supplier management and cost reductions
