This is your opportunity to join a leading construction and M&E company who due to continued success are seeking for a Buyer (M&E) to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services specific to M&E projects
- Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain relationships with suppliers while identifying and onboarding new ones.
- Prepare and issue POs
- Monitor and track deliveries
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions
- Resolve any issues related to delivery discrepancies, quality, or invoicing.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier correspondence
- Other adhoc duties
About you
- Experience of working within a similar role ideally M&E
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
