Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a market leading manufacturing firm based in Cookstown on the appointment of a Buyer.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with key suppliers ensuring all components are purchased competitively, on time and received within expected lead times
• Continually monitor stock ensuring items that are running low are ordered and received on time to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business
• Forecasting of all critical items, reviewing usages monthly and updating forecasts to the MRP system
• Frequently liaise with couriers/shippers to arrange collection and shipment of all items as and when required
• Matching PODs to invoices and placing on the system, ensuring all prices agree to purchase order price and quantities received, any discrepancies being raised immediately

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced purchasing department
• Proficient with MRP/ERP as well as all Microsoft Office packages
