Due to increase in work my client who is a leader in their industry, are now seeking for a Buyer to join their successful team on a full-time basis in Magherafelt.
About you
- +2 years experience of buying/procurement within the Construction industry
Duties
- Procure prices for all materials
- Assist project procuring and sourcing subcontractors for the packages.
- Identify potential suppliers and new products.
- Contact a range of suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain quotations.
- Provide daily order trackers.
- Authorise invoices.
- Obtain quotes and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Ensure the client specifications are met.
- Raise orders
- Qualify drawings and spec.
- Create call off schedules.
- Deal effectively with challenges with suppliers and the flow of materials.
- Other ad hoc duties
